Barbara Roden

Woodland Spirit, acrylic on canvas, 12 x 12"

I am a multi-media artist working and residing in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, where I find inspiration in the natural world around me. I graduated from the fine arts program at Kwantlen College (now Kwantlen Polytechnic University) and continue to experiment with various media and themes to expand my art practice. I take great delight in working in series, using one work as a springboard to the next. My current works are joyful, bright and bold acrylic paintings on canvas and are inspired by the the cottages and land/seascapes of BC's Sunshine Coast.

Memberships: Surrey Art Gallery Association, Watershed Artworks Society, Arts Council of Surrey, Federation of Canadian Artists - Active Member.
